LAF Weighing Booth-Overview
The LAF weighing booths are designed to provide protection for both products and personnel during the weighing of powdery substances. This is achieved through a targeted recirculation system that ensures a clean and low-turbulence laminar air flow. The air flows vertically into the work area and is exhausted near the bottom, effectively capturing airborne substances. The integrated exhaust system creates a slight negative pressure, protecting the surrounding environment from contamination. These booths do not require connection to an external air supply or exhaust system.
- Construction: Self-supporting, made from powder-coated stainless steel (1.4301) or sheet steel.
- Air Flow: Laminar air flow recirculation system with lateral and front flow restriction using anti-static PVC curtains. Front entrance clearance is 1.9 meters.
- Electrical: Equipped with 4x 230V CEE sockets (2x in LAF-WB (S)) and 1x 400V CEE socket.
- Filtration: Includes a G4 filter mat and F9 compact filter cartridges as pre-filters, and a HEPA filter H14 for process and exhaust air.
- Cooling: Integrated cooling system with mixed water control for condensate-free cooling.
- Control: Automatic fan control for maintaining constant LAF speed, with LED lighting and a separate switch cabinet for the control system.
- Compliance: Designed to meet GMP/FDA standards and includes a CE declaration of conformity.

Ein reiner und turbulenzarmer Luftstrom (Laminar Air Flow) strömt vertikal in den Arbeitsbereich der Wiegekabine und wird in Bodennähe abgesaugt - luftgetragene Stoffe werden kontrolliert erfasst.
