Selection Guide Profile of Ideal User The Freedom Innovations Kinnex™ Microprocessor controlled foot/ankle system was designed for low to moderate K3 level ambulators that require unsurpassed ground compliance for everyday activities. Patients that will benefit the most from this technology would include prosthetic users that require the ankle to independently adjust to changes in terrain and speed. With 30 degrees of microprocessor controlled motion (20° plantar flexion/10° dorsiflexion), Kinnex allows the prosthetic user to navigate environmental obstacles such as: ramps, slopes, uneven terrain, and stairs with added confidence and stability. This motion also reduces internal socket pressures, improving the comfort and reducing high pressure areas within the socket. Microprocessor controlled resistance to optimize stability on varied terrain, and changes in cadence. 30° of motion (20° plantar flexion/ 10° dorsiflexion). Improved comfort when sitting, squatting or standing. Adjusts to heel height 0 - 2”. Kinnex App (Patient App) allows user to customize programming to optimize gait (IOS and Android Devices). Kinnex App (Patient App) allows user to program up to 100 shoes. Water and Dust Resistance - IP67 rated safe for immersion in fresh water for up to 30 mins at a depth of 1 meter. Apparel Assist Mode- allows foot to be temporarily secured in any position to allow for assistance when donning pants or shoes GaitLab App (Prosthetist App)- provides a step by step set up guide for ease of programming.
