Overview
The Reanimator F 120 and F 120 mobile are ventilation systems designed for neonatal use, offering both stationary and mobile applications. They are characterized by their flexibility, reliability, and ability to provide IMV, CPAP, and manual ventilation. The systems ensure optimal conditioning of inspired air and safe monitoring.

Forms of Ventilation
The F 120 operates on a constant-flow principle, controlled by volume over time and limited by pressure. It supports IMV and CPAP ventilation modes. In IMV mode, patients can breathe spontaneously at a selected PEEP level between mandatory breaths. CPAP mode facilitates lung replenishment through spontaneous breathing with continuous positive airway pressure. Manual ventilation is also possible, expanding treatment options.

Safety Features
Safety is paramount, with visible monitoring of breathing frequency and a fail-safe alarm system for disconnection, stenosis, or power failure. The built-in O2 Monitor ensures the desired oxygen concentration with variable alarm limits.

Design and Functionality
Developed by F. Stephan GmbH, the F 120 is intended for initial care and short-term ventilation of premature and newborn infants. It is available with a built-in gas blender or dual flowmeter. The F 120 mobile is designed for vehicle installation and emergency use, featuring user-friendliness, flexibility, and robustness.

Conditioning of Inspired Air
The F 120 includes a system for heating and humidifying inspired air, preventing airway drying and condensate generation. This enhances patient comfort and reduces the need for frequent tube changes. Stationary versions include a suction/extraction unit and optional battery and 12-V power connection.

F 120 Mobile
The mobile version is equipped with fixtures for quick anchorage and an internal compressor for compressed air supply. It can connect to 12-volt onboard power supplies and has an internal battery for 80 minutes of operation post-power failure, making it ideal for emergencies and transport outside clinical settings.
