Product catalog summary
Introduction
Since its inception in 1985, Panaz has prioritized sustainability, pioneering dry printing technology and developing 100% recycled fabrics. The company has also launched initiatives like solar power and beekeeping to enhance environmental responsibility.

Recycled Fabrics
Panaz has developed EcoTWILL™ and EcoTWIST™, both 100% recycled polyester fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles. These fabrics reduce environmental impact by repurposing plastic waste and using less energy and water compared to virgin polyester production.

Beekeeping Initiative
Panaz supports local ecosystems by maintaining bee hives, which enhance biodiversity and pollinate plants. The company ensures sustainable beekeeping practices by only harvesting surplus honey and supporting struggling colonies.

Tree Planting with Ribble Rivers Trust
In partnership with Ribble Rivers Trust, Panaz plants a tree for every 100 meters of fabric sold, aiming to improve local woodland coverage and biodiversity, and mitigate climate change effects.

Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles
Panaz installed solar panels to power its operations and offers free EV charging at its headquarters. The company is transitioning its vehicle fleet to electric or hybrid models, targeting net-zero emissions by 2025.

Printing and Packaging
Panaz employs digital print technology to reduce waste and environmental impact. The company uses water-soluble inks and recycled materials for pattern books and cards.

Antimicrobial Solutions
Panaz developed a non-toxic, water-based antimicrobial solution for healthcare textiles, avoiding harmful chemicals and heavy metals, ensuring environmental safety.

Conclusion
Panaz's commitment to sustainability is evident in its innovative practices and partnerships, ensuring a positive environmental impact and setting a standard for the textile industry.

We only remove honey from our bees when it is a genuine surplus. By doing this, we ensure the bees always have more than enough nutritious food to sustain the hive, whilst also providing the bees with the room they need to continue expanding their colony Occasionally we will feed struggling colonies with sugar...
