TURNKEY SOLUTION for a PACS “PLUG & PLAY” SYSTEM B-PACS is a low-cost PACS system for the distribution and management of DICOM images, which can still provide all the capabilities required for a complete storage system. It is a "turnkey" solution with HW and SW, easy installation, where the only settings to be made at the customer are the typical network configurations (IPs, users, AETitle). B-PACS system is an effective, low organizative impact, fast to realize, easy to implement solution for all those relatively small sites which need high technology profile tools. It is customizable and expandable both for storage and functionality. B-PACS is an image manager / archivist based on J2EE Jboss open source application platform and set on profiles defined in IHE guidelines (IHE compliant image servers). B-PACS comes with a WEB interface for system administration. B-PACS provides DICOM and HL7 services and the interfaces required for archiving, retrieving, and managing the workflow of digital image diagnostic imaging producers.
