THE WEB SDLUTIDn FDR DI5TRIBUTIDn OF MEDICAL IMAGES EYELITEWEB by G-Squared is a system for distributing and viewing DICOM images through a browser. EYELITEWEB by G-Squared is a system for the distribution and visualization of DICOM images via web browser. It is a web-based viewer in which image processing is performed entirely on the client side, using HTML5 and JavaScript.IEIDICOM images are transferred via HTTP(s) and displayed directly by the browser. The server does not perform any image processing. EYELITEWEB is the answer to the growing demand for remote consultation of radiological images, enabling simple visualization of DICOM images retrieved from a central server (via WADO) within a Web Viewer (HTML5). DICOM images available on local PACS systems are acquired by the web module, which transforms them and makes them securely accessible to any user connected to the corporate network. EYELITEWEB is configured to maintain a cache of the most recent exams (the time range is configurable and customizable), in order to speed up their consultation. For older exams, image delivery time is slower, as the web server must request the images from the PACS or ABI. EYELITEWEB can be invoked by other web applications through URL calls containing the data of the exam to be displayed.
