The CD / DVD generated in accordance with IHE Portable Data for Imaging (PDI) profile is structured in this way : • directory containing images in DICOM format • html file index • imagines of kind “preview” for browsing of JPEG images with most known browser (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) To this structure, the DICOM EYELITE viewer is added, proprietary software that can easily view DICOM images caming from the patient CD structures (DICOMDIR) on the CD. The application includes automatic labeling of the CD with patient identification data, examinations whitin and the structure where they were performed. In the proposed package, the CD label is customized at the system setup time.
