ASTOPAD Patient Warming System The ASTOPAD™ resistive, reusable patient warming system is safe and simple to operate. It helps prevent and treat hypothermia throughout the perioperative journey for all surgical patients. The ASTOPAD has 2 independently controlled connections enabling the patient to be warmed simultaneously. Warming blankets can be placed over or underneath the patient. The temperature settings of the controller range from 32°C – 39°C and can be set individually in precise 0.5°C increments. All ASTOPAD blankets are made of Gentherm’s proprietary Carbotex® radiolucent heating technology. Each blanket is designed with 8 sensors enabling enhanced patient safety and precise temperature control.
