Cherry Ambistik From Geratherm Respiratory Simple to Install As with all of the Geratherm respiratory devices, the Ambistik is based around the USB 2.0 PC interface this providing the power and the connectivity for the device. Simply plug the Ambistik into a spare USB port on the PC or hub, tell the software to use the Ambistik for BTPS correction values and it begins to do it’s job simple! Improving Accuracy The Geratherm Respiratory Ambistik has been designed to help in the drive for more accurate measurements. The Ambistik measures the ambient conditions of Temperature, Pressure and Humidity within the testing environment, allowing accurate calculations and corrections to be made for BTPS within the system. Further with the addition of the Ambistik to the Blue Cherry software package the system is able to create automatic calibration corrections for the GR Spiraflow disposable flow sensor. Recent tests have shown that using the Ambistik module in conjunction with the Spirostik Spirometer allows the spirometer to be used at different altitudes without further manual calibration. Recording all measurements The Blue Cherry platform automatically records the ambient conditions to the database, allowing checks to be made later or trends of the recordings to be shown either at calibration or together with patient data. Data Trend Finally as the data is collected for each calibration the data is stored to the calibration database, this data can be trended to look at continuity of conditions over time in the testing environment.
