GERMOCID LINE – TECHNICAL DATASHEET GERMOCID BASIC GERMOCID BASIC is a Medical Device CE 0546 class IIa in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC. GERMOCID BASIC is a ready-to-use disinfectant solution containing 60% (w/w) of alcohol; GERMOCID BASIC is a wide range disinfectant and a great cleaner for non-invasive medical devices. The association of the different ingredients of GERMOCID BASIC guarantees a rapid and complete disinfectant action, at the same time it deodorizes and cleans even in presence of organic materials. GERMOCID BASIC is used for the treatment of all surfaces of non-invasive medical devices (facial masks, desks, armrests, headrests etc.). It is also perfectly suitable for the disinfection of alginate-based dental impressions, since it does not alter their size. Colorless liquid without added perfume. Shake well before use and spray GERMOCID BASIC directly on the surface to be treated. Let it act and finally dry it with a cloth or disposable paper. GERMOCID BASIC is active in five minutes of contact against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, against fungi (yeasts and molds) and viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV included); against mycobacteria (TBC included) in 60 minutes.
