Multi-Position Evaporation Station mVAP

Multi-Position Evaporation Station mVAP

Product catalog summary
Overview: The GERSTEL Multi-Position Evaporation Station (mVAP) is a fully automated system designed for solvent evaporation, enabling sample concentration and solvent exchange to enhance chromatography and LC/MS ionization. It integrates with the GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS) and can process up to 240 samples in standard autosampler vials, concentrating them in batches of up to six.
Specifications: The mVAP allows for user-defined temperature, agitation, and vacuum levels, ensuring flexible operation with minimal analyte loss. It supports various sample preparation techniques, including SPE, dispersive SPE (DPX), liquid/liquid extraction, and filtration, with automated injection into GC/MS or LC/MS systems.
Procedures: The system is controlled via the MAESTRO PrepBuilder software, requiring only one method and sequence table for the entire process, including GC/MS analysis. For LC/MS analysis, only one sequence table is needed.
Features and Benefits: The mVAP offers reliable and reproducible sample preparation, maximizing analyte recovery through mild evaporation conditions. It ensures contamination-free processing using sealed autosampler vials and reduces staff exposure to toxic solvents. The system supports parallel evaporative concentration of up to six samples and efficient PrepAhead overlapping of sample preparation and analysis.
Efficiency: The mVAP facilitates concentration directly from elution/sample vials, eliminating the need for manual liquid transfer. It supports automated loading of 2 mL, 4 mL, and 10 mL vials and provides fast, controlled evaporation through user-defined parameters.
Software Integration: The MAESTRO software offers intuitive control of the entire process, integrating sample preparation steps, evaporation parameters, and automated solvent exchange. It interfaces with leading chromatography software packages, providing single method control.
Contact Information: GERSTEL provides global support with contact details for offices in Brazil, USA, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland.

Multi-Position Evaporation Station mVAP-1

GERSTEL Multi-Position Evaporation Station mVAP Fully automated solvent evaporation integrated with your sample preparation VAP: Simultaneous evaporative concentration of up to 6 samples The GERSTEL Multi-Position Evaporation Station (mVAP) performs solvent evaporation enabling automated sample concentration for lower limits of detection as well as solvent exchange for improved chromatography and LC/MS ionization. mVAP is an option for the GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS): Up to 240 samples* in standard autosampler vials can be concentrated in batches of up to six. Concentration is performed at user defined temperature, agitation and vacuum levels enabling highly flexible operation under moderate temperature conditions and with minimal analyte loss. Concentration in the mVAP can be combined with a wide variety of sample preparation and clean-up techniques such as SPE, dispersive SPE (DPX), liquid/liquid extraction or filtration with the significant benefit of automated injection of the concentrated sample into a GC/MS or LC/MS system. Every step is controlled by mouse-click using the MAESTRO PrepBuilder. Just one method and one sequence table is needed for the entire process including GC/MS analysis. For LC/MS analysis, only one sequence table is needed. * The actual maximum number of Samples can be higher depending on size and configuration of the MPS.
