Overview: The ANTARES Warming Lamp is designed for treating newborns with hypothermia. It features a radiant heater and halogen lamp system managed by a micro-processor control unit.
Heating System: The system includes a 350W radiant quartz tube emitting infrared heat. It operates in Manual or Automatic Modes. In Manual Mode, the operator sets the heat level, with safety ensured by an acoustic alarm. In Automatic Mode, the operator sets a desired skin temperature (23.0°C to 38.0°C), and the system automatically adjusts heat levels using a skin sensor probe. A Pre-heating function provides 30% of maximum heat output without triggering alarms during transitional phases.
Illumination System: Equipped with four 20W halogen lamps, the system provides optimal visibility of the patient.
Design and Mobility: The lamp is mounted on a height-adjustable chrome-plated stainless steel stand with a Y base on wheels, covering a footprint of 0.4 m² and weighing approximately 19 kg.
