i8500 Series Mobile Video Cart GlobalMed customizes mobile telemedicine stations based on individual facility use or enterprise-wide solutions. All stations are shipped fully assembled with choice of configuration of HD monitors, echo-free microphones and speakers, remote camera control, medical-grade power systems and selected medical devices so they are ready to use at their destination. A built-in ramp enables just one person to unload the station from the shipping crate at its destination. • GlobalMed recognizes that each telemedicine program has unique needs and characteristics. • Stations are built in collaboration with the customer. • Stations are scalable, so as a customer’s telemedicine program grows, new equipment can be integrated. As mobile telemedicine stations are used by a wide variety of individuals, the i8500 stations are built to be used and moved safely by anyone, no matter their size. • Antimicrobial work surface makes for easy cleanup of spilled liquids. • Tabletop adjusts to preferred provider height in use and in transport to adapt to workflow. • 5-star heavy-duty wheel base moves easily over any surface, including thresholds without the fear of tipping over. • For safety reasons, handles are placed on the side of the stations, rather than behind, giving clear view ahead in transport. Peripherals Integration GlobalMed’s custom designed stations have brackets above the wheelbase to contain videoconferencing equipment, medical devices and station backup battery, while maintaining control over cables and cords. • Durable medical-grade battery that can be used in presence of oxygen flow. • Brackets can hold integrated customer selected equipment such as a PC, a codec and/or TotalENT™ Illumination Device and Camera. • Retractable cable reels aid in reducing dangling and tangled cords for safety, ease-of-use and cost savings from damaged cords.
