GC Processor

Product catalog summary
Main Features
The GC Processor is designed for immuno-hematology applications using gel cards, suitable for ABO/Rh grouping, antibody screening, phenotyping, and cross-match testing. It features a multi-probe fast pipetting system, on-board barcode reading for safe processing, and fully programmable test layouts. High-resolution gel card image capturing and automatic result interpretation are included, with a user-friendly Windows-based interface.
Throughput and Processing
Available with 2 or 4 pipetting probes, the GC Processor is ideal for medium labs, accommodating 80 samples and 120 gel cards on a 112 cm platform. It features independent washable tips with capacitive liquid detection sensors. Samples are sourced from primary tubes, with predilution in deep well tubes or microtiter plates. A robotic handler moves gel cards through assay processing, including foil piercing, with batch processing of up to 24 gel cards.
Safety and Precision
The system ensures excellent pipetting precision with innovative mini toothed wheel pumps, requiring no maintenance. It features a secure decontamination procedure for dispensing tips, on-board barcode scanners for sample safety, and a locking system sensor for the front protection shield.
High Resolution Pictures
A telecentric optical lens and high-resolution CCD camera capture gel card images, which are stored in an archive repository for further verification after result validation.
Flexible Interpretation
Results are interpreted using a flexible algorithm adaptable to different agglutination reactions, with dedicated settings for each gel card type based on reagent sensitivity.
Protected Data
Access to the application interface is protected by user ID and password, with different user privileges managed by the GSG LogInManager program.
Validation and Reporting
Results can be confirmed or modified through a validation process before reporting or sending to an external host-PC. Reports can be customized using Crystal Report software and saved in various file formats.

The excellent pipetting precision is guaranteed by the innovative "mini toothed wheel" pumps, which don't require maintenance or replacement parts. The sample and reagents dispensing is "carry-over" free through a secure decontamination procedure of the dispensing tips. The on-board barcode scanners allows a safe of samples testing, alerting the user when incorrect or expired reagents/Gel Cards mismatching the worklist in process. The front protection shield is connected to a locking system sensor which stops the analyzer processing when opened. HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURES A sophisticated "telecentric...
