Product Description_ Apex Biological Indicators (BI) consist of stainless-steel carriers inoculated with a monolayer of sterilization resistant spores. Tri-Scale discs are packaged in a Tyvek® envelope to protect from post process contamination and has small holes to facilitate hanging. Each envelope contains one each of three different populations of spores, sealed in separate compartments. Apex Biological Indicator products are designed specifically for the pharmaceutical, food, and medical device industries utilizing hydrogen peroxide vapor sterilization. TriScale BI’s conveniently provide three different populations to assist in initial validations, evaluations of unique enclosures, monitoring identified worst-case enclosure locations, etc. Technical Parameters Apex Tri-Scale BI discs are packaged in a medical grade Tyvek® envelope which is permeable to H2O2 vapor.
