Discs are packaged in a Tyvek® envelope to protect from post process contamination. The envelope has a small hole to facilitate hanging and a thumb notch for peeling. Apex Biological Indicator products are designed specifically for the pharmaceutical, food, and medical device industries utilizing hydrogen peroxide vapor sterilization. Apex biological indicator discs are individually packaged in a medical grade Tyvek® envelope which is permeable to H2O2 vapor. These envelopes are placed in clear, plastic bags and sold in increments of 100. • The Tyvek pouches are labeled with product type, organism, lot number and expiration date.
