Compatibility of Hadeco's Probes with STERRAD® Sterilization
This document provides a compatibility matrix for various Hadeco probe models with the STERRAD® sterilization system by Johnson & Johnson, specifically models 50, 100S, 200 NX, and 100NX.
Probe Models and Types
- Standard Duo Express Flex Probes: ACP-08, CRP-10H, CRP-20H, CRP-20H1N, FDP-08, FDP-10

- TCD for DVM-4300: PW2M15N5A
- Super Flat for DVM-4300: SP10M2N5A, TK10M3S8AF, TK10M4S8AF, TK10M5S8AF, VRP-08, VRP-10, VRP-20
Sterilization Compatibility Summary
Each probe model is evaluated for compatibility with the STERRAD® sterilization process. The matrix uses symbols to indicate compatibility:
- ○ (Circle): Compatible
- × (Cross): Not Compatible
For all listed probe models, the first five columns (presumably representing different STERRAD® sterilization cycles or parameters) show compatibility (○), while the last three columns indicate non-compatibility (×). This suggests that these probes are compatible with certain STERRAD® sterilization cycles but not others.
Additional Notes
- The probes are categorized by their intended use, such as neurosurgery (reusable and disposable), pencil type for DVM-4300, tucking for DVM-4500, and various shapes (curved, flat, small monitoring, long, flexible).
- The manufacturer is Johnson & Johnson, and the sterilization methods referenced are specific STERRAD® models.
Critical Information
- Users must verify the specific STERRAD® sterilization cycle used to ensure compatibility with the probe model.
- Not all sterilization cycles are suitable for all probes; improper sterilization may damage the probe or compromise sterility.
- Consult this compatibility matrix before sterilizing Hadeco probes with STERRAD® systems.
