Clinical Background:
Gaps between implant components are unavoidable due to manufacturing constraints, leading to potential bacterial colonization. These gaps, averaging 45 microns, are susceptible to colonization by germs as small as 0.5 microns. GapSeal was developed to address this issue by sealing these gaps effectively.

Material Composition:
GapSeal is based on a special silicone matrix that creates a barrier against bacterial infiltration. It is applied immediately after implant insertion to ensure protection from the start.

Application Procedure:

Insert the GapSeal tip into the applicator.
Remove the closure cap and apply GapSeal by turning the transport screw.
Generously load the implant with GapSeal and seal it airtight by inserting the locking screw.
