Introduction
This document provides information on the Feline Blood Typing Kit developed by Hangzhou Antigenne Technology Co., Ltd. It outlines the common blood types in cats, the presence of naturally occurring antibodies, and the geographical variation in blood types.

Blood Types in Cats
Cats have three main blood types: Type A, Type B, and Type AB. Type A is the most common, followed by Type B. Type AB is extremely rare, and Mik blood is even rarer. The distribution of these blood types varies by geographical location.

Antibodies in Cats
Unlike dogs, cats have naturally occurring antibodies, which are acquired through colostrum within 1-3 months after birth. Type A cats have weak anti-B antibodies in their plasma, while Type B cats have strong anti-A antibodies.

Specimen and Measurement
The kit requires whole blood as a specimen, and the measurement time is approximately 5-10 minutes.

Feline AB Blood Typing System
The system identifies erythrocyte surface antigens and serum or plasma antibodies. Type A cats have weak anti-B antibodies with a titer range of 1:2-1:64, whereas Type B cats have strong anti-A antibodies with a titer range of 1:64-1:2048.
