Guangzhou Haizhu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Guang Dong, 510240, China China Practical Medicine, July 2010, Vol. 5, No. 20 [Abstract] Objective Comparative studying the clinical eficacy of Singclean and dexamethasone for preventing pelvic adhesions after gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. Methods 124 cases of gynecologic laparoscopic surgery were randomly divided into 3 groups: Singclean group, dexamethasone group and control group. Peristaltic sound recovery time, ventilation defecation time, and postoperative hospital days were observed in patients during hospitalization. The recovery of patients were monitored using telephone interview from 1 month to 1 year after discharge from hospital. Results Singclean group of postoperative recovery were superior to dexamethasone group and control group (P <0.05)during hospitalization; a sense of abdominal bulge, lumbosacral pain, encapsulated fluid and disease recurrence of disease of Singclean group patients were significantly superior to dexamethasone group and control group (P<0.01) one year after surgery through telephone interview. Conclusion Singclean compared with dexamethasone can better prevent the occurrence of pelvic adhesions after laparoscopic surgery, it is worth in the popularization and application of gynecologic laparoscopic surgery.
