Hausted® Pediatric Stretcher Standards The stretcher meets the applicable requirements of the following standards: CSA C22.2 No. 601.1-M90 Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC EN60601-1:1990+A2 UL2601-1 2nd Ed. Design Features Central brake and steer system with 8" (203 mm) casters has three modes of operation: steer, neutral, and brake. Brake and steer levers for this system are accessible at all four corners of the stretcher base. (Typical only - some details may vary.) Application The Hausted® Pediatric Stretcher is intended for transport, examination, and care of pediatric-age patients in healthcare facilities. Description The Hausted Pediatric Stretcher provides the safety and security of 360° patient protection, as well as 360° patient access when needed. The three position vertical side rails are easy to use, and provide maximum patient security. The dual pedestal design provides maximum stability for patient transport, treatment and recovery. To ensure patient comfort, the patient surface can be adjusted through a variable range of positions, including stretcher height adjustment, and manual backrest adjustment. Additionally, the stretcher is provided with extra high 17.75" (451 mm) side and end rails for the enhanced safety of pediatric patients. Easy-rolling casters provide full mobility and maneuverability. The hands-free hydraulic positioning and adjustment system features foot pedals located at both sides of the stretcher base. Pedals control height adjustment, as well as 10° Trendel­ n­ urg e b or reverse Trendelenburg positioning. The thermoformed base cover is seamless and easy to clean. Dual pedestal base construction ensures patient stability. The adjustable patient surface is provided with a stainless steel finish. Material Specifications Base Frame Made from 1" (25 mm), 12-gauge, square, polymer coated high-strength tubing. Base cover is thermoformed ABS plastic.
