Remove the battery cover on the side of the display assembly by sliding the battery cover out (see Figure 5). 3. Replace or install the battery (Figure 6). Note: Health o meter® Professional recommends using an alkaline or lithium battery, rated for 130°F (54°C) operation. Do not use zinc-carbon battery. 4. This scale does not include the carrying case item # 64771, and must be acquired separately (see Figure 7). To prepare the scale for transport, follow these steps: 1.
