Medical ozone is a highly reactive molecule composed of three oxygen atoms (O3). It is primarily made from pure medical oxygen with a maximum of 5% ozone. This colorless gas is known for its distinctive odor and has strong bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and antiparasitic properties, making it useful in various applications for decades. Ozone is generated using ozone-therapy devices through electrical discharge and is applied as an ozone-oxygen mixture in precise concentrations and dosages.
