Technical Data Armeo®Senso Device description: The ArmeoSenso is a sensor-based device intended for the rehabilitation of patients with mild to moderate impairments in upper extremity function. ArmeoSenso uses wearable sensor technology to track upper extremity movements that are translated into Augmented Performance Feedback exercises for patient’s therapy. Its software includes motivating, game-like exercises which simulate activities of daily living and are presented to the patient on a computer screen. Exercises target different therapy goals such as increasing range of motion, strength, endurance, and movement coordination. ArmeoSenso provides the patient with a tool to perform repetitive functional movement therapy in a motivating environment. The ArmeoSenso allows the therapist to adapt the therapy parameters via a user interface to individualize therapy and address patientspecific needs. The ArmeoSenso can objectively assess joint range of motion, movement workspace and movement quality, and produce therapy reports. • • • • • Armeocontrol Software: Space requirements: 3D position detection of arm segments and grip strength sensing Detection of compensatory trunk movements Training while seated or standing Game-like virtual reality and augmented performance exercises motivate patients to train actively Objectively track patients’ progress Limited or no therapist supervision required Sensor mounting accessories or double-sided tape to attached sensors Training with or without the hand module Training while seated or standing SaeboMAS mini (table-mounted arm weight support - optional) User database with an individual account for every patient (allows for managing individual therapy schedule, storing patient settings, logging activity and results) Parameters individually adjustable to the patient’s needs and abilities: Exercise workspace Difficulty level of every exercise > 20 motivating games and exercises Assessment Tools for relevant parameters of the patient’s performance (single joint range of motion, functional reach workspace, movement coordination) Objectively track patient’s progress - detailed, Excel readable exercise report System packed in a portable product case for easy transfer and storage Product case dimensions: 34 x 8 x 30 cm 13.4 x 3.1 x 11.8 in (L x W x H) Dimensions sensor: 42 × 32 × 16 (h) 1.7 x 1.3 x 0.6 in (L x W x H) Dimensions hand module: 200 × 60 mm 7.9 x 2.4 in (L x ⌀) Weight: max. 2.0 kg (4.4 lb.)
