Overview: The HOMOTH COMBI4000M is a PC module designed for ENT diagnostics, combining tympanometry and rhinomanometry functions to save costs and space. It provides full-automatic impedance measurements and real-time calculations for flow, pressure, and resistance.
Tympanometry Mode: This mode allows for automatic impedance measurement with results displayed on a PC monitor. The device features a one-hand operation for ease of use, with a two-colored lamp indicating correct probe fitting. It measures the stapedius reflex both ipsi- and contralaterally while maintaining middle ear pressure.
Rhinomanometry Mode: This mode uses nose plugs for quick adaptation, allowing measurements to fit within normal examinations. It calculates flow, pressure, and resistance in real-time, with results available immediately. The device accommodates individuals with beards, long hair, or mask anxiety, and includes a face-half-mask for clinical use.
Applications: The device is used for allergy proofing, diagnosing nasal breathing issues, post-operative function control, and medication efficacy monitoring.
