Product catalog summary
Introduction
Ultrasonic examinations are increasingly important in modern medicine, particularly for sinus evaluations. The ultrasonic probe functions as both a transmitter and receiver of ultrasonic impulses, with echoes indicating changes in acoustic impedance.

Procedures and Usage
The ultrasonic method is quick, user-friendly, and safe, with no dangerous side effects. It is particularly useful for monitoring sinusitis progress. The examination is reliable and requires no computer expertise.

Data Management
All data and measured curves are automatically stored on the computer's hard disk. Printouts can be made using any Windows printer. Four sinus images can be stored for comparison, with depth amplification stored in four selectable curves.

Accessories
- 1 ultrasound probe
- 1 bottle of sonogel
- 1 footswitch
- 1 probe holder
- 1 program CD
- 1 instruction manual

Conclusion
The ultrasonic method serves as a cost-effective supplement or alternative to x-rays, widely used in ENT practices in Germany.

Ultasound-2

US 4000 Ultrasonic examinations have become more and more important in todays medicine. Ultrasonic impulses are sent through sinus-maxillaris and sinus-frontalis. The ultrasonic probe serves as transmitter for ultrasonic impulses, as well as receiver for the echos. The runtime of the echos is similar to the structures in the sinus. Echos are formed at a change of the acoustic impedance, between bone and tissue, bone and liqiuid as well as between all solid or liquid matter and air. The bigger the difference in impedance, the stronger the reflection. A part of the energy is reflected at the transition...
