KiloArc

Product catalog summary
Overview: The KiloArc™ is an advanced illumination system designed to deliver high optical output power, equivalent to the brilliance of 1,000 suns. It is ideal for applications requiring more than 100 watts of optical power focused on an 8 mm diameter area.
Specifications: The system operates with a power rating of 800–1200 watts, using either a 1,000 watt xenon or xenon-mercury lamp. It features high efficiency f/4 ellipsoid reflector optics, ensuring up to six times more optical output than conventional systems. The lamp life is typically 1,500 hours, and the system maintains high optical stability with low noise levels.
Features and Benefits: The KiloArc™ offers high collection optics, compact design, ozone-free operation, and is available in manual or computer-controlled versions. It is economical, providing the most watts per dollar, and allows easy bulb changes without tools.
Applications: The system is suitable for solar and photovoltaic testing, UV curing, semiconductor testing, phototoxicity research, material degradation research, and atmospheric photochemical pollution research.
Additional Information: The KiloArc™ can be combined with a monochromator for enhanced functionality. It is compact, with dimensions of 489 mm x 375 mm x 329 mm, and weighs 31 kg. The system is air-cooled and does not require venting.
