Its Tilt-n-Space capability and therapeutic cushioning allows increased blood circulation helping to prevent skin breakdown and other complications of immobility. Unlimited Repositioning The I700 Barton Convertible Chair is a portable, efficient and versatile transfer and positioning solution for bariatric patients that helps move a patient from a supine to a seated position easily and safely. By simply getting the patient out of the bed faster, it promotes faster recovery and can help reduce the length of stay in both higher acuity departments as well as the overall length of stay in a hospital. A non-lifting alternative, it is an ideal option for patients with pressure injuries, pain or those who are simply afraid of being lifted. The caregiver can continuously and frequently reposition a patient to increase tolerance for long-term seating with the recline or Tilt-n-Space functions.
