Intended Use: The bedhead service unit is fixed behind the patient bed or trolley position, and is intended to supply one or more of the following services: • electrical power up to 240 volts • medical gas supply - oxygen, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide • low pressure medical airfor patient ventilation • high pressure medical airfor driving other medical devices • vacuumand/oranaestheticgasscavenging services • lighting for illumination purposes • communication services For diagnosis and communication purposes in medical areas and special areas. The bedhead luminaire is fixed above the patient bed, and is intended to supply the following services: • Room/Uplight Single bed application only. The patient controls the light through the use of a switch on the bedhead unit or wall. The equipment is intended to be used by qualified nursing staff.
