Introduction
Absorption Systems provides solutions for echo and reverberation control through their Absorbatone™ and Varitone™ panels. These products are designed to enhance acoustic environments by reducing reverberation time and improving speech intelligibility.

Absorbatone™ Panels
Absorbatone™ panels are fabric-wrapped foam absorbers available in Class A and Class C, offering a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing solution. They are lightweight, easy to install, and available in standard and custom sizes up to 1200mm x 2400mm. The panels come in thicknesses of 25mm and 50mm, with weights of 0.67kgs and 0.94kgs per square meter, respectively. The panels are wrapped in acoustically transparent fabrics available in various colors.

Acoustic Performance
The 50mm thick panels are Class A absorbers with an NRC of 0.95, while the 25mm thick panels are Class C absorbers with an NRC of 0.75. IAC offers a full acoustical service to determine the optimal panel quantities and locations for each project.

Varitone™ Panels
Varitone™ panels are rugged, perforated steel encased systems designed for harsh and industrial environments. They are available in thicknesses of 50mm and 100mm, with lengths up to 3660mm. These panels can be suspended from ceilings or attached to walls and are made from 0.76mm galvanized steel. They are available in various finishes, including PPC and vinyl.

Construction & Sizes
Standard panel widths are 450mm for 50mm thick panels and 360mm for 100mm thick panels, with lengths ranging from 915mm to 3660mm. The panels contain incombustible, mildew-resistant, and vermin-proof acoustically absorbent infill.

Acoustic Performance
The Varitone™ panels have different absorption coefficients depending on the model and wrapping. For example, the VT-2 model (50mm) has an NRC of 1.00, while the VT-4 model (100mm) has an NRC of 1.30. These values are based on ASTM C423-90a test procedures.
