Seismic Spring Mount - SSM

Product catalog summary
Product Description: The document describes the anti-seismic range of vibration isolators designed for installations in seismic zones. These isolators prevent installation failure during seismic events by reducing vibrations transmitted to and from equipment, thereby prolonging equipment life. They consist of a lower body and upper cover with rubber facing mats, connected by guide pillars to withstand horizontal seismic forces. The rubber mats also isolate higher frequencies and have anti-skid properties.
Seismic Spring Mounts (SSM): The document provides a table listing various models of Seismic Spring Mounts (SSM) with specifications including load capacity in kilograms and pounds, deflection in millimeters, and vertical stiffness in kg/mm and lbs/in. Models range from SSM-50 to SSM-600, with load capacities from 50 kg (110 lbs) to 600 kg (1323 lbs).
Dimensions: The document includes a table detailing the outer dimensions of the SSM models, with measurements for length (L), width (W), height (H), and diameter (Ø D) in both millimeters and inches. The unloaded height is specified for each model.

Seismic Spring Mount - SSM-1

Seismic Spring Mounts Product Description The anti-seismic range of vibration isolators is designed for installations in seismic zones. When a seismic event occurs, the anti-seismic design prevents installation failure in a horizontal direction. They can reduce the vibration passed to the equipment and vice-versa reduce equipment vibration passing to the structure, this can also have the effect of prolonging the life of the equipment. They are composed of a lower body and upper cover each with a rubber facing mat. The two-part connecting guide pillars join the upper cover and lower body together. the design is capable of withstanding the horizontal forces from seismic events. The rubber mat on the base and top plates aid in isolating against higher frequencies and also have anti-skid properties. Use the below tables to choose the correct mount according to the application and plant loadings. Model Deflection Vertical Stiffness Vertical Stiffness (mm) (kg/mm) (lbs/in) Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE). Web: www.iac-acoustics.com Email: [email protected] Shop: View our
