Technical Specifications
The Implen OD600® is a modern, stand-alone, battery-powered device with a 3.5” glove-compatible touchscreen display. It is designed for simplicity and ease of use, featuring an intuitive interface for determining cell density at 600 nm. The device measures OD600 values up to 4 A and McFarland values up to 16 MFU. It includes a rechargeable battery with a runtime of over 8 hours, making it suitable for fieldwork and various laboratory environments.

Optical & General Specifications
The DiluCell™ has dimensions of 12 mm x 12 mm x 45 mm, with an automatic dilution factor of 10. It requires a sample volume of 300 μl and is UV/VIS transparent starting from 340 nm. The photometric range for OD600 is 0 – 4 A, with accuracy at 1 A being less than ±0.01 A. The device supports various cuvettes and tubes without the need for adapters.

Connectivity and Data Management
The device offers advanced connectivity options, including data export via USB in .xls and .csv formats, and LIMS integration via Wi-Fi® and Ethernet/LAN. It has a 4 GB internal memory for storing sample data and supports software in six languages. The device is GMP/GLP ready with DiluCell™ and features a maintenance-free setup with no moving parts or recalibration necessary.
