One-pager-Fetal RhD genotyping kit-IBJB - 1

The Institut de Biotechnologies Jacques Boy (/bwa/) has developed the most sensitive device for determining fetal RHD genotype by real-time duplex RT-PCR, using a maternal blood sample taken during prenatal monitoring of RhD-negative patients from the 11th week of amenorrhea, with 100% sensitivity. It enables us to target only those women who should benefit from effective prophylaxis against fetomaternal incompatibility, and to save stocks of anti-D immunoglobins. PROPOSITION CONTACT PIERRE ALEXANDRE MENU MARKETING DIRECTOR +33 3 26 79 72 77 pa.menu@ibjb.fr CHALLENGE All RhD-negative pregnant women routinely receive immunoglobulin injections, even though 40% of them have no RhD fetomaternal incompatibility. They must therefore be screened without endangering the pregnancy, in order to safeguard immunoglobulin stocks. IBJB offers this screening through RHD fetal genotyping with its 4 Allée Albert Caquot, Reims, FRANCE prenatal genetic blood test: the Free DNA Fetal Kit RhD. It is the 1st IVD medical device for RHD fetal genotyping using 3 exons in the world to be certified as Class D under the new CE IVDR 2017/746 regulation, because its sensitivity rate is 100%. COMPANY OVERVIEW Founded in 1985 The product makes it possible to switch from systematic prophylaxis to targeted prophylaxis in the prevention of RhD fetomaternal incompatibility, as this third-generation product has become a gold standard in Europe after 16 years of service. 1 kit = 96 tests. 1 test = 1 result 20 employees 100% independant Design, manufacture and sales of in vitro diagnostic medical devices in the fields of immunohematology, hematology, cell culture and prenatal diagnosis using molecular biology techniques. SCIENTIFIC TEAM The kit was designed in collaboration with Dr. Yves BROSSARD, creator of the National Reference Center for Perinatal Hemobiology, Dr. Jean-Pierre CARTRON, former director of the National Institute of Blood Transfusion, who was the first to clone the Rhesus D gene and received the prestigious Karl Landsteiner Award in 2019 from the AABB, and Dr. Marc MENU, President and CEO of the IBJB. MILESTONES Since 2008, over 400,000 kits sold. Since 2008, 0 reacto-vigilance and false-negative results. Since 2023, the world's 1st fetal genotyping test using 3 exons to be CE IVDR certified.
