Product Overview
AmnioExcel® Amniotic Allograft Membrane is a human placental-based tissue product designed to act as a protective covering for wounds. It contains key components such as an intact extracellular matrix (ECM), growth factors, and cytokines, which aid in tissue repair, reconstruction, and replacement. The membrane is easily moldable and conforms to the wound.

Indications for Use
AmnioExcel is intended for use as a wound covering for the repair, reconstruction, and replacement of skin. It is applicable for chronic and acute wounds, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic injuries, burns, and surgical wounds.

Regulatory Information
The product is regulated as a Human Cellular and Tissue-Based Product (HCT/P) under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act and is governed by the FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER).

Clinical Evidence
Studies have shown that AmnioExcel, when used with standard care, is more likely to lead to complete wound closure and accelerate the rate of wound closure without additional safety risks, particularly in diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).
