Overview
InterSystems Enterprise Manager is designed to simplify and enhance the management of systems with multiple instances of InterSystems Caché® or InterSystems Ensemble®. It streamlines configuration, provisioning, and management processes, thereby saving time and resources.

Capabilities
The Enterprise Manager supports instances from version 2014.1 onward and includes features like shadowing and ECP. It manages services such as:

Configuration: System settings for connectivity, SQL, devices, etc.
Security: Management of roles, resources, and security domains.
Users: User settings, security parameters, and LDAP options.

Usage
Similar to Caché’s Management Portal, the Enterprise Manager applies settings across multiple instances. Instances are organized into Groups based on criteria like location or function. Each Group administers specific Services, and settings are applied to all instances within a Group. Changes are made at the Group level and require approval before application.

Provisioning
Registering an instance with a Group automatically applies the Group's settings to that instance. Changes to a Group's Service settings are propagated to all registered instances, allowing for efficient management of large systems.

Availability
The Enterprise Manager is a free, stand-alone application available for download by supported InterSystems clients from the Worldwide Response Center’s FTP server. For updates, follow #ISCEnterpriseManager.
