SURGICAL SYSTEM SURGICAL SYSTEM INSTRUMENT INFORMATION The EndoWrist Stapler for the da VinciXi System is an endoscopic linear stapler. The EndoWrist Stapler provides fully wristed articulation in both horizontal and vertical directions and is controlled by the surgeon through the da Vinci Xi Surgeon Console. SmartClamp technology provides intraoperative feedback to the surgeon and reduces the guesswork normally associated with stapling. For each reload color, SmartClamp technology detects whether the jaws can adequately close on the target tissue for the given staple height. If not, the EndoWrist Stapler will notify the user. The EndoWrist Stapler System also prevents firing when it detects that no reload is installed, or that a spent reload is installed, and notifies the surgeon and OR staff. ENDOWRIST STAPLER FOR DA VINCI XI SYSTEM STARTER KIT (PN 381251) The Starter Kit provides the necessary components, except for the reloads, for the first 10 cases. All reloads must be ordered separately. The Starter Kit provides 100 firings with 2 EndoWrist Stapler instruments. It also includes the necessary training products to begin using the Stapler.
