Product catalog summary
Specifications and Features:
The SL Straight Locking Plate is designed for precise bone fitting with multidirectional locking and adjustable screw angles. It is anatomically contoured, available in lengths from 4 to 13 holes, and uses Ø 3.5 mm cortical screws made from TiAL6V4 ELI material. The titanium plate ensures easy removal, enhanced fatigue strength, and reduced risks of cold bonding, inflammation, and allergy.

Surgical Technique:
The procedure involves anesthesia, use of a pneumatic tourniquet, x-ray fluoroscopy, incision, fracture alignment, plate placement, drilling at a ±15° angle, screw insertion, and postoperative care including bandaging and physiotherapy.

Indications and Contraindications:
Suitable for anatomical reconstruction and corrective osteotomies, but not for large bone shaft fractures, advanced osteoporosis, or skin and soft tissue issues.

Implants & Instruments:
Includes straight plates, cortical screws, screwdriver, spiral drill, countersink tool, depth gauge, drill guide, and sterilization tray.

Locking Mechanism:
The mechanism allows ±15° locking without pre-threading, with anodization improving surface characteristics and reducing inflammation and allergy risks.

Sterilization and Maintenance:
Implants and instruments require cleaning and steam sterilization. Instruments should be inspected for cleanliness and functionality.

Warnings and Precautions:
Implants are single-use and should not be altered. Regular follow-ups are necessary, and implants from different producers should not be combined. MRI use with steel implants is prohibited.

Disposal and Patient Information:
Follow hospital disposal guidelines. Patients should be informed about post-implantation care and report any negative changes.

Responsibility of the Hospital for Instruments:
Instruments have a long service life but require proper care. Damaged instruments must be disposed of, and returned products require cleaning and sterilization.

Important Note:
Instructions are validated for re-use suitability. Reconditioners must ensure processes achieve desired results and evaluate deviations for efficiency.

Symbols and Standards:
References include RL 93/42/EWG, ÖNORM EN ISO 13485, ISO 17664, and sterilization methods. Symbols indicate single use, expiry date, charge number, order number, material, package content, size, and instructions.
