The ARIX Foot System is intended for use in internal fixation, reconstruction, or arthrodesis of small bones including the fore, mid- and hind foot and ankle. Examples of these procedures may include but are not limited to replantation, lag screw techniques, joint fusions, corrective osteotomies, and the treatment of fractures.

Additional Compression • Many ARIX Foot plates incorporate a compression slot • Additional compression is applied by using cortical screws into the oval compression hole.

Surgical Technique Mid-Fore Foot 1 Reduction of fractured bone Adjust the bone fracture line 2 Plate selection and positioning Select the appropriate plate and position the plate Drill using the drill bits(112-28-701, 112-23-704) over the drill sleeve(111-112, 111-113, 111-114, 111-115) to the desired depth. Drill using the drill bits(112-28-701, 112-23-704) over the drill guide(111-132). 3 Reaming & counter sinking Reaming the hole more than the external diameter of screw using the lag drill bits(112-28-701-L, 112-23-703-L) over the drill guide(111-132).
