The FIX-C PEEK Cervical Interbody is indicated for use in skeletally mature patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) of the cervical spine at one disc level. FIX-C Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion System implants are used to facilitate fusion in the cervical spine and are placed via an anterior approach at the C-2 to T-1 disc levels using autograft bone or bone graft substitute.

Surgical Technique Position the patient in a supine position on a radiolucent operating table. Ensure that the neck of the patient is in a neutral position and supported by a cushion. Using the standard anterior cervical surgical approach, expose the vertebral bodies to be fused. Prepare the fusion site following the appropriate technique for the given indication. Surgical Technique The FIX-C cage is carefully introduced along the midline into the disc space under fluoroscopic control. Confirm whether the implant is securely attached. Turn the knob in a counterclockwise direction to release the implant from the implant inserter. Warning: The height of the implants on description does not include teeth height (1 mm). ※ Turning the knob clockwise allows the adjustment of stopper location from the vertebral body. Cleaning Methods Cleaning Methods - Disassembling of ACIF Cage Holder Stopper Knob Inner Shaft Holder Knob Rotate the “Stopper Knob” until the number “four (4)” is visible in the shaft window. Pull the “Holder Knob” upward to make the “Inner Shaft” sticking out for pulling. Press the “Switch” in the “Holder Knob” and pull the “Inner Shaft” out of the holder.
