Eldridge Anesthesia Patent pending Flat surface on one side of mask Anesthesia masks are a commonly utilized piece of equipment in veterinary clinics. All masks employ a clear virtually unbreakable plastic cone with a black rubber diaphragm. The clear round cone allows visualization of patient’s muzzle area. The black rubber diaphragm stretches for a comfortable fit. The end is a 15mm OD (same as a endotracheal tube) that readily connects to any anesthesia circuit. A standard round mask wants to roll away from patient on a flat table. Towels are often used to brace the mask into position.
