SEALTOP

SEALTOP

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The SEALTOP machine is designed to validate the sealing quality of heat-sealable packaging materials, both before and during production. It ensures the consistency of sealing quality through a pre-established procedure using validated parameters.

Specifications
The SEALTOP is capable of testing various heat-sealable materials such as plastic laminates, aluminum laminates, papers, and Tyvek. It operates with precision and repeatability, controlled by an operator who manages the sealing bars.

Sealing Parameters
The machine uses specific parameters for sealing: Temperature, Pressure, and Sealing time. These are recorded in an automaton recipe and validated by usual controls.

Testing Procedure
Sealing tests are performed on material strips using two tools:
  • Tool 1: Low threshold welding with low values for Temperature, Pressure, and short time.
  • Tool 2: High threshold welding with high values for Temperature, Pressure, and long time.
The operator performs the first weld with Tool 1, followed by an automatic weld with Tool 2. Results are compared to pilot samples to confirm material quality.

Security and Options
The SEALTOP machine includes three levels of access security and can be equipped with an Audit trail system for monitoring. Optional features include force sensors and networking capabilities, as well as a version for cold sealable materials.

Material Specifications
It can handle strips up to 420mm in length and 420mm in width.

SEALTOP-1

CONTROL MACHINES – JR MARUANI Features SEALTOP The SEALTOP is a tool for validating the sealing quality of the materials used, before or during the production of rolls of heatsealable packaging materials. This laboratory equipment makes it possible to control the recurrence of the quality of sealing of materials, according to a pre-established procedure, with sealing parameters (Temperature, Pressure, Sealing time) previously validated by the usual controls and recorded in a recipe of the automaton. It is designed to test all types of heat-sealable materials with precision and repeatability, such as plastic laminates, aluminum laminates, papers, Tyvek and other heat-sealable materials that need to be validated. The closing of the sealing bars is controlled by the operator. The bars are kept closed during the programmed sealing times, depending on the test cycle to be performed. Performance of sealing tests on strips of materials to be checked by: Tool "1" Weld low threshold, low values : Temperature; Pressure ; Short time. Tool "2" high threshold welding, high values : Temperature; Pressure ; Long time. Receive documentation on SEALTOP machines The two welds on the strip are carried out by the operator Tool 1, then Tool 2 automatically. The comparison of the results obtained, compared to the results of the "pilot" samples, makes it possible to confirm the quality of sealing of the packaging materials tested. It is secure thanks to 3 levels of access and can be equipped with the Audit trail system for monitoring controls.
