Project Overview
The AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, aimed to transform its new seven-story patient tower, the George F. Lynn Harmony Pavilion, into a comforting and nurturing environment. The project was led by the interior design firm Francis Cauffman, which won the IIDA Best Healthcare Design award for their work.

Design Goals
The primary objective was to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for patients, families, and visitors while maintaining functionality for hospital staff. The design sought to replace the traditional sterile hospital look with a more residential and comforting aesthetic.

Product Selection
Francis Cauffman selected KI's Soltíce Collection for its versatility and ability to provide a cohesive look throughout the facility. The collection was used in common areas and patient rooms to create a sense of continuity and comfort, aiding the healing process.

Furniture and Customization
KI's broad product range, including Flex Tables, DataLink Multipurpose Tables, Impress Ultra Seating, and Neena Benches, was utilized to furnish the facility. KI also customized Soltíce products to meet specific design, safety, and practical needs, enhancing the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space.

Design Impact
The design incorporated matching finishes and wood tones to bring warmth into the space, making it more inviting. The collaboration with KI was praised for their flexibility and willingness to provide samples and customize products to fit the design vision.
