KoKo IrisConnect Software - 1

SEAMLESS COMMUNICATION WITH EMR SYSTEMS Iris™ Connect is a powerful interface engine that makes integrating with your EMR simple and straightforward. From a single spirometer solution in your private practice to an enterprise-wide solution with devices in multiple facilities, Iris Connect enables operational interfaces with the world’s leading EMR/HIS systems in hours rather than weeks and all at a fraction of the cost of competitive systems. HOW IRIS CONNECT WORKS 1. Iris Connect routes orders and test results between your medical records systems and all devices networked to Iris™, nSpire Health’s exclusive SQL™ relational database management / information system. 2. Technicians access a worklist of patient orders through any testing device on your network. As soon as testing is completed, preliminary reports are immediately available to interpreting physicians on any Iris workstation and to referring or treating physicians in your EMR. 3. Immediately following interpretation, final reports can be accessed in the EMR or on any Iris networked or browser-based workstation. Since Iris Connect is not limited to sharing office-based spirometry/ pulmonary function test results, interpreting physicians can enhance referral notes and treating physicians can have access to more comprehensive data sets for superior clinical decision making and optimal E&M billing rates. This is indicated by the finding of a mildly reduced forced vital capacity (FVC). Bronchodilator therapy was administered followed by repeat spirometric testing. Post-bronchodilator testing failed to demonstrate a significant change in FVC, FEV1, or FEF25-75%. This indicates that this patient may not benefit from continued bronchodilator therapy. This interpretation is valid only upon physician review and signature. Figure 1 – Sample textual report. embedded text
