General Information
The horizontal bed head unit for ICU is designed for wall mounting and is constructed from extruded aluminium with separate compartments for electric and medical gas. All plastic components are made from flame-retardant ABS and tested with incandescent wire. The unit is modular, allowing for easy modification of electric and medical gas outlets without cutting the profile. It is suitable for various wall structures and operates within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Each electrical socket has a maximum power consumption of 2 KVA, while lighting consumes up to 0.15 KVA. Installation requires screws and continuous operation is supported. The unit is packed individually with protective packaging.

Dimensions: Length is project-specific, width is 9 cm, and height depends on the number of channels required.
Illumination: Options include fluorescent or LED lamps with configurations of 1 x 18 W, 2 x 18 W, 1 x 36 W, or 2 x 36 W for ambient and reading light.

Equipment Compatibility
The unit supports various electrical and medical gas terminal units conforming to DIN, BS, and AFNOR norms. Electrical receptors can be normal, UPS, or emergency types. Medical gas options include oxygen, vacuum, compressed air (4 bar and 7 bar), N2O, AGSS, and CO2. Additional features include nurse call buttons, RJ11 and RJ45 sockets for telephone and data, and SUB-D9 monitor sockets. Systems for nurse call and music can also be integrated.

Quality and Testing
The unit undergoes rigorous testing, including isolation tests (> 4 MΩ), high voltage tests (< 3.5 mA), and grounding continuity tests (< 0.1 Ω). It has an IP20 IK04 protection index and is classified as a Class 2 device for protection against electrical shocks type B.
