These doors are designed for use in operating theatres, laboratories and other clean room environments where air-pressure control and hygiene are of the utmost importance. Aesthetic and hygienic design In the design of KONE hermetic sealing doors, we use rounded shapes in the covers, proles and door handles. This is not only an aesthetically pleasing solution, it also has an important functional benet as it improves hygiene. The KONE hermetic sealing door is available as an automatic or manual door. The appearance of the door can be modied to suit its environment, for example to match the panels of an operating theatre. A KONE hermetic sealing inside sliding door also has a space-saving safety feature. The moving panel of the door can slide into a sealed compartment to ensure that safety and space are maximised. Excellent noise reduction KONE hermetic sealing doors are equipped with special rubber seals, rounded proles and door panels covered on both sides with high pressure laminate. KONE hermetic sealing doors can reduce the noise level by as much as 34dB, which makes it an excellent choice in facilities where a low level of outside noise is essential.
