General Safety Instructions for IT Equipment Please read this chapter carefully and observe the instructions for your own safety and to ensure correct use of the device. The device is designed to be mounted and operated only in the position described in this document. The proper mounting is a vertical position with the interfaces downwards. Therefore proper packaging and grounding techniques are necessary precautions to prevent damage. Always take the following precautions: 1.
