Crystal Airway Mask - 1

• Latex - Free • Different Colors for Sizes • Rotationally-molded laryngeal cuff The process of rotational molding produces a cuff with a stronger yet thinner wall as compared to other methods of cuff manufacture. This process yields a cuff that is ultra-soft next to the delicate tissues of the larynx and the laryngeal aditus, reducing the potential for trauma and creating a more custom seal. This custom seal capability allows greater ventilation options and more efficient airway protection without the dangers of high cuff pressures. • Reinforced posterior aspect of cuff To aid in insertion of the Crystal Airway Mask™ the posterior aspect of the cuff (away from the delicate laryngeal tissues) is reinforced with a thicker wall than the patient side of the cuff. This reinforcement reduces the possibility of the distal portion of the cuff folding back on itself during insertion. This type of reinforcement is possible only with rotational molding, as it is produced in entirely one contemporaneous piece. 'Integrated inflation lumen Unlike other devices on the market, the Crystal Airway Mask™ cuff inflation line is integrated into the wall of the ventilation tube. This serves to protect the inflation line and reduce the possibility of leaks caused by erosion against The Crystal Airway Mask™ is a single use device, intended for disposal after use. Today's environment of resistant pathogens and their role in nosocomial infections demand disposability of all products that come into contact with mucous membranes.
