KOVA® -TROL URINE CONTROLS-ABNORMAL is produced by Kova International, Inc. It is intended solely for in vitro diagnostic use. For emergencies, contact your local Poison Center.
The product comes in two forms: Kova-Trol I (High Abnormal) and Kova-Trol II (Low Abnormal), both as solid, lyophilized powders. They are odorless and not considered hazardous by OSHA standards, though safety information is detailed in the MSDS.
Exposure above recommended limits may irritate the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs, but no significant effects or critical hazards are known.
For eye or skin contact, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention if needed. If inhaled, move to fresh air and provide oxygen if breathing is difficult. Do not induce vomiting if ingested; seek medical attention if adverse effects persist.
