Series Volpino has its good looks from its big brother 8200 Volpe. Volpe is the Italian word for fox, Volpino is the diminutive form and can be translated as "little fox". In many cultures, the fox has a strong symbolic role in folklore, often depicted as a cunning and intelligent animal. This idea began to take shape following the success of the thoroughly universal seating series uni_verso, consisting of either plastic or wooden seat shells, combined with 5 very distinct frame options. Technically, series Volpino shares the frame platform of uni_verso. The signature Volpino seat shell boasts exactly the same fixation points for the "marriage" with the frames. Additional spacers convey ­ a feeling of lightness between seat shell and frame. A multitude of distinct frames is available, including a bench variation capable ­ of seating 2 up to 6 persons.
