The standard Model C1201 Minifuge accommodates 6 x 1.5/2.0ml tubes and microcentrifuge filter units directly. Adapters are supplied for spinning 0.5ml and 0.4ml tubes. This unit is ideal for quick spin downs, microfiltrations and cell separations. The new Model C1202 Minifuge S has a rotor that holds two 8 x 0.2ml PCR strip tubes or 16 individual 0.2ml tubes. It can be used to spin samples down from the walls or caps of tubes and other applications requiring low g-force. Operating the Minifuge is extremely simply - just close the clear lid to start and open to stop. Both units require just 12 x 12cm of benchspace, making them ideal for use in places where space is at a premium. The Minifuges are safe for cold room use. The 220V units are CE approved.
